Born in the vibrant city of San Juan, Puerto Rico, Dr Luciano graduated Magna Cum Laude with a bachelor's degree in sciences follow by a medical degree at the University of Puerto Rico, School of Medicine. During her formative years, Dr. Luciano completed a year-long internship in Family Medicine and earned a degree as a specialist in Internal Medicine. Her desire to make a global impact drove her to collaborate with the renowned Dr. Patch Adams as a volunteer on a mission to Cuba. Here, they visited medical facilities caring for the Chernobyl children, victims of radiation exposure, leaving an indelible mark on her medical journey.
Dr. Luciano made a life-changing decision to leave her home and pursue a career in rheumatology at UTSW in Dallas, Texas. This move opened doors for her to contribute significantly to rheumatology clinical research and the development of rheumatology registries, paving the way for advancements in the field.
For the past 16 years, Dr. Luciano has been a cornerstone of the rheumatology community in Denton, Texas, where her expertise and compassionate care have positively impacted countless patients.
